Just spoke with my friend, former airline pilot and asked him how much does it cost to carry drinking water and blankets on board the plane fuel-wise and is it worth of selling it or just give away to the passengers. He flew for the last 10 years B-747s. I haven't flown domestically in the past few years and do not know how much airlines charge now for drinking water and blankets - so any input will be appreciated. I know now for a fact that airlines are ripping us all off. You can not bring any liquid on-board and thirst is gonna catch-up with all of us sooner or later during flight - that's where the profit comes for the airlines.I will be posting financial breakdown soon but for now any ideas and first hands experience will be very welcome here! |
